Montana Fund for Tolerance
2008 APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applications are due March 15, 2008

1.  Organization Summary Form  -- use only the page provided in pdf or word format

2.  Narrative (not to exceed two pages) that includes:

  1. Organization's history and goals (not applicable to schools and other public entities.)
  2. Description of the program you are asking the Montana Fund for Tolerance to support.  Please include past activities and outcomes (if applicable) as well as future goals.
  3. How will a Montana Fund for Tolerance grant enhance your organization’s ability to promote tolerance and combat bigotry and discrimination among young people?
  4. How will you measure the project’s successes/limitations/results?

3.  Attachments:

  1. Organization budget.  (Not applicable to schools and other public entities.)
  2. Project budget and the time frame it addresses. 
  3. Other sources of funding that have been secured for this project.
  4. Other sources of funding you will request to support this project.   
  5. Current IRS letter indicating nonprofit status of your organization or your fiscal sponsor.  (Not applicable to schools and other public entities.)
  6. List of board of directors with officers identified.  
  7. List of key staff, if applicable.  
  8. Other applicable information you would like to share – please do not send videotapes or information that isn’t easily photocopied.
