LEARN ABOUT US
Mission
Promoting ecologically and economically sustainable development of human and natural resources to improve the social and economic wellness of the communities of Mineral County.
History
The Mineral County Community Foundation was established in 1994. In response to the closing of a major employer, MCCF was formed to assist the County economically and socially. MCCF’s efforts resulted in a $95,000 permanent endowment. Earnings from this endowment have been used to fund youth programs, a community garden, and other projects that benefit the communities of Mineral County.

We recently initiated a grant making program, with awards ranging from $100-$500 to nine deserving organizations. The Foundation gives approximately $4,000 each year in grants. We publicize in the Fall, with award announcements in December. Maximum grant size is $500.
